The role

As a Treasury Analyst, you are expected to take part in Group Treasury projects in a broad sense, but your specific area of responsibility will be:

• Tactical- and strategic management of the Hoist balance sheet.
• Focusing on liquidity management, foreign exchange, credit and interest rate risk management, as well as financial forecasting and the funding strategy, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external financial institutions to optimize treasury operations and support strategic decision-making.

Main responsibilities

Together with other team members you will collaborate with senior front-office professionals, acting as their trading backup, with the long-term objective of developing full trading expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial forecasting, with the focus on matching the liability side of the balance sheet as well as the liquidity buffer, to underlying core assets.
• Reporting & Analysis, develop reports and analytics to support treasury steering and risk oversight.
• Strategic Treasury Initiatives and lead analytical efforts in treasury projects, generating data-driven insights and technical improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Execute hedging transactions (FX- and IR derivatives) as well as trading in the Liquidity buffer, as back up to senior Front office staff
• Having a holistic approach and combining short-term and long-term goals.

Desired skills and experience

We are looking for a Treasury Analyst with a background in banking, credit market and/or financial institutes, with some years relevant Treasury work experience. Previous trading experience is beneficial, but not a must. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or in a Quantitative field.  Further on you have an analytical capability with experience in FX, liquidity, and risk management.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, and has strong analytical skills combined with a proactive and independent approach. Collaboration and social competence are key, as is the ability to work effectively within a team. Also experience using systems like Bloomberg, Reuters, SAP, MORS as well as knowledge of SQL, R or Python is desirable.
