Responsibilities & Activities
As a Senior Fund Accountant, you’ll play a central role in delivering best-in-class fund accounting services to leading alternative investment managers:
• Own the end-to-end fund accounting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds
• Lead the execution and review of NAV calculations, reconciliations, postings, and financial reporting
• Manage and review complex drawdowns, distributions, waterfalls, and investor allocations
• Prepare and review regulatory, statutory, and investor reporting
• Act as a trusted subject-matter expert for clients, auditors and internal stakeholders
• Drive quality, consistency and best practices across fund operations
• Review work and support the development of junior colleagues, through guidance and sparring
• Actively contribute to automation, system development and process optimization initiatives
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Luxembourg
About you
You’re a confident and commercially minded fund accountant who enjoys taking ownership and being close to the business. You care about delivering high-quality work. And about making things smarter, faster, and more scalable.
You likely:
• Have experience in fund accounting or fund administration, ideally within alternative investments
• Are comfortable owning complex fund structures and client relationships independently
• Bring solid accounting, reporting, and regulatory knowledge
• Think in processes and enjoy improving how work is delivered
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external stakeholders
