Avida is looking to appoint a Credit Analyst Real Estate to support its continued growth.

The role

As Credit Analyst Real Estate at Avida, you will play a central role in the evaluation and execution of real estate financing transactions. You will be responsible for conducting credit analysis, structuring financing solutions, and producing high-quality decision material for credit committees.

Working closely with origination teams and senior stakeholders, you will be involved across the full transaction lifecycle—from initial screening and underwriting to execution and ongoing portfolio follow-up. This includes working with a range of financing solutions, including construction loans, ensuring appropriate structuring and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. You are expected to bring both expertise and perspective, contributing to the continued development of Avida’s real estate offering.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment, including evaluation of cash flow, loan-to-value (LTV), interest coverage, and refinancing risk across a broad range of real estate segments

• Structure and recommend tailored financing solutions

• Prepare and present high-quality credit decision material, with clear recommendations on structure, terms, and risk positioning

• Develop and maintain financial models, including cash-flow analysis and stress testing (interest rates, yield shifts, market value, vacancy, refinancing scenarios)

• Contribute to the execution of a wide range of transactions, including senior and junior debt, acquisition financing, bridge loans, inventory financing and construction loans

• Play an active role in improving processes and driving efficiency within the credit function

Candidate profile

• At least five years of relevant experience in credit analysis, real estate finance, or a comparable role within the financial sector

• Proven experience in drafting credit decision materials in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess complex transactions

• Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently with a high level of accountability

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and handling of complex datasets

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in contributing to the development of the portfolio.
