The role
As Parent Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the parent company, Hoist Finance AB (publ), and Hoist Finance Procurement AB. You will also ensure that external reporting obligations—such as to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket)—are completed accurately and on time.
In this leadership role, you will manage a team of four in Stockholm and work closely with colleagues in our Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) in Wroclaw. You will lead team development, follow up on finance projects, provide ongoing support, and foster a high-performing team culture.
You will ensure that accounting policies and procedures are up to date, compliant with internal control standards, and continuously improved. You will also oversee accounting for new transactions such as acquisitions of portfolios and the setup of new entities.
This role requires strong project leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to drive change and improvements across the Finance function.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory and tax reporting.
- Drive and participate in finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee implementation and adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors on matters related to the audit of the Parent company. Prepare and provide necessary documentation and respond to audit-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure our shared service partner (FSSC in Wroclaw) operates in accordance with agreed processes and service levels. Follow up on performance, identify and implement process improvements, and support internal education initiatives.
- Coordinate and monitor outsourced functions, including deposits, accounts payable/receivable, and portfolio transactions (acquisition and collection).
- Supervise accounting treatment of new financial transactions, credit portfolios, and new legal entities.
- Collaborate with the FSSC in Wroclaw, including participation in weekly coordination calls.
Key Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Swedish GAAP.
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks relevant to accounting:, tax and VAT legislation.
- Solid experience in financial analysis and financial control.
- Familiarity with financial transactions such as liquidity management and hedging.
- Understanding of credit portfolios, collections, and impairments.

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in a Finance department, ideally within a fast-paced and stakeholder-heavy environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Audit certification or experience from one of the Big Four is a strong advantage.
