We are now looking for a business-oriented Asset Manager to join the Asset Management team in Sweden, working on and developing our growing light industrial portfolio. You will have a broad role and be involved in all aspects of asset management, from idea to completion whilst working alongside with some of the most experienced professionals in the Nordic real asset landscape.
The role
As an Asset Manager at Areim, you have a key role in our asset management team, specializing and working with light industrials. The assets are located in Stockholm, but we also have properties in Uppsala, Västerås, Norrköping, Linköping and Gothenburg. Experience and network from either region is appreciated. We focus on developing profitable and sustainable properties and the ability to identify development potential, establish and grow new tenant relationships as well as drive value-creating activities is crucial. Since we operate in a Nordic environment, you will collaborate with our colleagues in Norway, Finland, and Denmark. The position is full-time and based at the company's office at Regeringsgatan 30-32B in Stockholm but regular visits to the assets are required. You will report to the company’s Head of Asset Management Light Industrial, Louise Bruneheim, and be part of the Swedish Asset Management team.
Key responsibilities and tasks
Leasing, project development and rent negotiations
Manage and lead external parties within service and maintenance
Produce material for budgets, forecasts and business plans for each property
Coordinate projects and leasing activities together with the project management team
Develop detailed plans and create building rights in collaboration with the project management team
Work goal-oriented to optimize net operating income
Be active in our long-term sustainability efforts
Your profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with leasing, development and property management of commercial premises. You build long-term relationships with a strong and solid customer focus. To thrive in this role, you need to be flexible, unpretentious and able to collaborate easily while contributing to the team's development. You are solution-oriented and creative, combined with a high level of social skills that inspire trust and energy. As a person, you are comfortable taking responsibility and initiatives.
Qualifications and suitable background
As the role can be adapted to the final candidate, we are seeking someone with at least 5 years of experience in commercial property management/asset management
Skilled in negation and active in connecting to new and existing customers
Interest in value creation within the technical/energy field
Extended and well-maintained network in the industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced experience with Excel
Experience and interest in using AI tools to support analysis, efficiency and value creation
Communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Valid Category B driver’s license
Education
Relevant academic degree in real estate, finance, or business administration
Personal qualities
High personal drive. A willingness to deliver high quality, being committed and dedicated
Great interpersonal skills, team player and ambitious
Professional attitude, high work ethics and energy level, flexible style and ability to get things done both independently as well as in teams
Business oriented with strong analytical skills
High social competence with the ability to build long-term sustainable relationships
